If the measurements are very tight, go one size bigger OR order a couple of snap extenders from somewhere else (or make your own). I got size L for my 19lb short hair shihtzu/rat terrier mix and only the upper two buttons reach to close. The upper two reach snug but comfortably, the lower two don’t reach at all on her. I love the way it fits however because she might reach the flap on a larger one and tear it apart, so I will keep this one and make some extension straps to make the lower snaps work. Nice and light, weight about 3.0oz.
