Heats up just fine. I just wish they had a recommended current supply. When i plugged them into a 1a supply the supply got very warm and the pad did not heat up much. When i plugged them into a 2.5a supply they got to a good temperature, but the supply still got warmer that i feel it should have. I have a 5a supply around somewhere, i suspect that is the correct one.
